GRAND CENTRAL X MOTEL CAMPO #2

Audrey Danza b2b Pastram / Angelo Repetto (live)

Here we go again for an original b2b. To mark the occasion, we’ll start off strong with Pastram, the enfant terrible with his thousands of LPs and hazy atmospheres. He will be in b2b with Audrey Danza, an expert in 80s-influenced experimental sounds. Both resident DJs at Motel Campo, this is the first time they will share the decks for a prolific meeting between two worlds steeped in EBM, trance, techno and Italian pop. Celebrations all around! Angelo Repetto’s heavy and deep basslines will then take over to end the night with a cosmic, techno-infused live set. This is the first time this major DJ from Zurich’s alternative scene will perform at Motel Campo, and it promises to be a great!

From 9 p.m.

Audrey Danza

Geneva-based DJ Audrey Danza is constantly on the lookout for experimental sounds and new ways of mixing music. Eclectic and enigmatic, her selection relies on excursions that combine disco space with trance, tribal percussion, industrial beats and high energy. Drawing her inspiration from the 80s and 90s, she always seeks to lead her audience into unknown and uncharted lands, creating rich cosmic textures. Currently making a name for herself on the Swiss scene, she is one of the residents of Geneva club Motel Campo and is also a founder and curator of the establishment’s radio station, Motel Radio. Danza has also launched her own label, Proxima, with a first reissue of Italian disco released at the end of last year.

Pastram

A member and resident of the large Motel Campo family, Pastram is used to smoke-filled atmospheres. Behind his decks, the enfant terrible with his hundreds of LPs advances the pawns of some radical, saturated music, in which dark beats and cathartic echoes merge with howling microphones. There’s trouble on the dancefloor! Pastram formulates his kaleidoscopic influence through a selection steeped in Industrial, Body Music and Wave Synth.

ANGELO REPETTO (live)

Zurich-based producer Angelo Repetto’s music overflows with a distinct kind of optimistic melancholy. There is always a touch of euphoric sadness in his melodies, underscored by his distinctively deep and heavy baselines.

Kamiokande is the first release that Repetto, best known for his live sets and a favourite amongst dancers on Zurich’s alternative scene, will present through his new label Subject to Restrictions. For this EP, Berlin-based Neu Verboten has added a club-friendly touch, delivering a strong remix of Time Split that reinvents the dimensions of Repetto’s original vision.
